The Garment

Pre-loved, belted, whimsy goth dress, perfect to wear on its own or layered with other dress or skirt.A dress with a romantic vibe but with an edge.
The embellishments are salvaged/recycled from other textile pieces and the belt was made specifically for this dress.
Outer fabric: 100% cotton; lining: 100% polyester; embellishments made from a mix of materials. Original Vero Moda brand.

This piece was carefully selected, restored, sanitized and is ready to wear.



Alterations Made

Detail of an appliqué on the collar; detail of an appliqué featuring English embroidery, lace, and satin ribbons on the chest; an appliqué on the hem made from the same material as the collar and another with a satin ribbon. Belt made from the same materials as the dress’s appliqués. All of these materials are reused and recycled.

Care Guide

- Let it air out, preferably outdoors, if not dirty;
- Wash inside out in cold water (max. 30°) with soft fabrics on the delicate cycle with full load (to prevent friction between fabrics and reduce the release of microplastics);
- use an appropriate bag to collect the microplastics released by the synthetic fibres;
- Dry inside out;
- Do not use a dryer;
- Do not wash with rough fabrics (e.g., denim);
- Do not wash with dark-colored clothes;
- Iron it inside out, if necessary.
Following these instructions will help the clothing last much longer and maintain its integrity, in addition to being environmentally friendly practices.

When your item reaches the end of its useful life, please dispose of it in the appropriate recycling bin. If you prefer, I’d be happy to take it back at Faceless Queen—just contact me before shipping it.
