The Garment
A pre-loved dress with ruffles, velvet and tulle details, and satin bows. This dress was originally a long-sleeved shirtdress, whose cuffs were used to embellish the lace-up at the back. Two spare buttons included.
This dress is perfect to wear on its own, with a peticoat or a voluminous skirt underneath.
100% cotton, original Pieces brand. Adornments 100% polyester.
This piece was carefully selected, transformed, sanitized and is ready to wear.
Alterations Made
The long sleeves were removed, and the armholes were embellished with voile; same voile was added to the ruffles on the back of the skirt; a lace-up detail was added to the back, featuring the cuffs of the original sleeves, fastened with recycled velvet ribbon. On the front and shoulders, velvet and tulle ribbon was added, as well as satin bows.

Care Guide
- Let it air out, preferably outdoors, if not dirty;
- Wash inside out in cold water (max. 30°) with soft fabrics on the delicate cycle with full load (to prevent friction between fabrics and reduce the release of microplastics);
- Use an appropriate bag to collect the microplastics released by the synthetic fibres;
- Dry inside out;
- Avoid using a dryer;
- Do not wash with rough fabrics (e.g., denim);
- Do not wash with light-colored clothes;
- Ironing is optional, but if you do, iron it inside out.
Following these instructions will help the part last much longer and maintain its integrity.
A Note on Goodbye
When your item reaches the end of its useful life, please dispose of it in the appropriate recycling bin. If you prefer, I’d be happy to take it back at Faceless Queen—just contact me before shipping it.
