The Garment

Pre-loved black-and-white striped bolero with an embroidered appliqué on the back, embellished with loral embroidery and braided trim. A mainstream bolero turned into a gothic piece, featuring Victorian inspiration and intricate details. A key piece for any gothic or alternative wardrobe.
98% polyester, 2% spandex, original H&M brand.

This piece was carefully selected, restored, sanitized and is ready to wear.


Alterations Made

Braiding applied all around, floral lace and embroidery added to the back.

Care Guide

- Let it air out, preferably outdoors, if not dirty;
- Wash inside out in cold water (max. 30°) with soft fabrics on the delicate cycle with full load (to prevent friction between fabrics and reduce the release of microplastics);
- Use an appropriate bag to collect the microplastics released by the synthetic fibres;
- Dry inside out;
- Do not use a dryer;
- Do not wash with rough fabrics (e.g., denim);
- Wash with similar color clothes;
- Iron inside out, only if necessary.
Following these instructions will help the clothing last much longer and maintain its integrity, in addition to being environmentally friendly practices.
