The Garment

Pre-loved Houndstooth/ Pied de Poule bolero with an ornate appliqué made from scrap fabric and skull detailing. A mainstream bolero transformed into an alternative-style piece that firmly establishes its place between elegance and nonconformity.
98% polyester, 2% spandex, original H&M brand.

This piece was carefully selected, restored, sanitized and is ready to wear.

 


Alterations Made

Braid made of fabric waste applied on the shoulders, collar, and front. Skull jewelry detail on the shoulders.

Care Guide

- Let it air out, preferably outdoors, if not dirty;
- Wash inside out in cold water (max. 30°) with soft fabrics on the delicate cycle with full load (to prevent friction between fabrics and reduce the release of microplastics);
- Use an appropriate bag to collect the microplastics released by the synthetic fibres;
- Dry inside out;
- Do not use a dryer;
- Do not wash with rough fabrics (e.g., denim);
- Wash with similar color clothes;
- Iron inside out, if necessary.
Following these instructions will help the clothing last much longer and maintain its integrity, in addition to being environmentally friendly practices.
